Billy Oceans performance at Lincoln Castle was nothing short of fantastic and a showcase of how iconic he truly is.
From the moment he stepped onto the stage he had the crowd completely engaged, delivering hit after hit with the same energy and charisma that made him just that extra bit special.
Hearing classics through the night such as, "Love Really Hurts Without You" "Caribbean Queen" "When the Going Gets Tough" "Get Outta My Dreams" and "Red Light Spells Danger" was a real treat especially watching the entire crowd sing and dance back.
The setting couldn't have been more perfect for the show, as the weather stayed beautiful and warm, the clear skies lead to a sunset of pinks and oranges over the castle making the historic grounds look even better, and as I stood on the castle walls for a song I watched the crowd from front to back, young children to grandparents dancing all the way through.
The whole night felt magical, Billy performing timeless classics, a crowd that were all brought together through the same love of his music and a beautiful backdrop. This will be something I remember for a long time to come.
