After a decade Mumford and Sons finally return to Leeds and Marcus apologises for this almost immediately into the night. But in turn, tells the 14000 strong crowd that they're here "Just to fuck around for a few hours" and What a night it was.

I've been a fan of this band since I was just a little kid in school, some of the first covers I ever posted online of myself performing were off 'Sigh No More'
Opening the night with 'Run Together' 'Babel' and 'Rubber Band Man' I was just in awe of Marcus, a man I've listened to for over half my life. Who's written the theme song to one of my favourite TV shows (Ted Lasso) and I just couldn't quite believe I was finally getting to see the band live, even without the full original line-up.
We were treated to brand new unreleased songs, as well as the classics and anthems that everyone was there for. 'Little Lion Man' being an obvious fan favourite and treating us to a hearing of brand new song 'Here' in which he brought out the absolutely fantastic support Sierra Ferrell.
My highlight of the night was up next with the trio of Marcus, Ted and Ben around a microphone at the bottom of the stage in which they performed 'Timshel' to an *almost* silent First Direct.
The night only continued to be amazing and worth years of waiting to see them live.
'The Cave' 'Rushmere' 'I Will Wait' and 'Conversations With My Son (Gangsters & Angels' were all among the rest of the star studded setlist.
I cannot wait for the new release and I really can't wait to see Mumford again in 2026. Definitely a show I will not miss.
